Western Canoe Kayak is once again hosting Paddle Expo at Cultus Lake's Main Beach
Located in B.C.'s Beautiful Fraser Valley
Kick off the 2024 season with Western Canada's biggest paddlesports event of the year.
This event aims to provide beginner-to-experienced paddlers with an opportunity to try out paddlesports and see what it's all about.
Come visit us and talk to industry professionals from top brands. If you're looking for the perfect canoe, kayak, or SUP you won't want to miss this event.

Preventing paddling injuries with proper stretching
With Simone Joyce
Simone has been paddling for 17 yrs. She paddles: whitewater kayaks, canoes, SUPS and touring kayaks and even a man inflated in a drysuit, but that’s another story.
Simone is a RMT (registered massage therapist) and has been practicing for 2 years at her private clinic in Chilliwack. Stop by and learn how to ‘stretch it out’.

With Jenny Wakeling
Jenny Wakeling is a member of the Beaver Paddling Club and has been paddling canoes for 15 years.

In real life Jenny is a veterinarian and teaches veterinary technology at Douglas College.

Sea Kayak Rescue Demonstraion
With Brad Keats of Mission Paddle Sports
Brad Keats has been paddling for a number of years and a certified instructor for the last 4.
He spends half his time here in BC and the other half in Baja.
He is available to teach private classes to both singles and groups.

We'll be showing you a variety of Kayak rescue techniques. Come down and have a look
